DaDa Disability and Deaf Arts [formerly NWDAF] has been operating as a Deaf and Disability Arts Development Agency since 1984. Our home base is Liverpool, but we work throughout England, nationally and internationally.

We aim to make this website as easy to navigate as possible. It details all aspects of our work, from the award winning DaDaFest to the work of Young DaDa Disability and Deaf Arts. We deliver a varied programme of Arts Projects and support the development of artists through professional development programmes.

Our work is about making opportunities to include everyone in arts and cultural activity, and promote events to showcase Deaf & Disability arts.

The image is split in teo, the left hand image shows Claire Cunningham hanging from one of her crutches as though she is flying through the air. She is lit with theatrical blue/green and white light. The image to the right is taken side on of her hanging between the crutches which have been suspended from the ceiling. This was from her performance of 'Mobile' which was commissioned by DaDa for DaDaFest International 2008.

The image is split into three photos. To the far left stands Denise Leigh sining onstage at DaDa in the Yard, she wears a purple of the shoulder dress, seated to the right. playing the accordian is her partner Stefan Andrusyschyn. The middle image is a black and white close up of Stefan playing the accordian which is decorated with tribal tattoo style patterns at the the top. The third image is a close up of Denise smiling and looking away from camera.

The image is split into three and to the far left is taken from Divaldo Neslysim's performance at DaDaFest, it shows a figure dressed in white cloth being embraced by arms that are appearing out of white material. The middle image is a close up of Josette Bush mingo, she waves her finger cheekily at the cameraman, she has a nose ring. The far right image is the same as the middle image, taken from slightly further away.

The image is split into three and shows Claire Cunningham in the far left balanced backwards on her crutches dressed in a black tutu. The phot has been taken side on. The middle image has been taken from a distance from the same performance by Claire. The last image shows Calire leaning forward out to the audience whilst on her crutches.
