DaDaAwards

DaDaAwards

We established the DaDaAwards to create a way of acknowledging the work created by Deaf and Disabled artists.  They are currently held every year as part of DaDaFest and awards presented at a prestigious and glamorous evening dinner event.  The Awards are made to acknowledge and also to enable the recipient to develop their art activity. The recipients receive a limited edition award, plus a prize up to the equivalent of £500 as a professional development package.  There awards follow two stages: firstly people are invited to submit applications for artists, groups or companies in one of the categories created by DaDa and sponsors.  Secondly, these are then short-listed by an independent panel to just 4 nominees in each category.

Artists do not have to have taken part in DaDaFest to be nominated for an Award.
